Shipping & Returns

Here's how we get your piece to you, and what happens if something isn't right. We're a small shop, so if your situation doesn't fit neatly into the policy below, just email us at orders@roughcutcedarco.com — we'd rather talk it through than hide behind fine print.

Shipping

We ship to addresses in the United States. Shipping is a flat $14 per order, and it's free when your order total is $150 or more. We pack every piece by hand — usually more carefully than strictly necessary — and send you a confirmation email when your order is on its way.

Local pickup and delivery

If you're nearby, skip the shipping entirely. Local pickup is always free. Local delivery is free in Bolivar and available in nearby towns for a delivery charge shown at checkout before you pay — choose your option at checkout and we'll follow up by email to arrange a time.

Arrived damaged?

If your order shows up damaged from transit, email us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage and the packaging. We'll make it right with a repair, a replacement, or a full refund — and you won't pay a dime of shipping for our trouble or the carrier's.

Returns on ready-made pieces

Ready-made (stock) items — the planters, boards, and boxes listed on the site — can be returned within 30 days of delivery in their original condition. Email us first so we know it's coming, then ship it back. You cover the return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or defective, in which case that's on us.

Custom and made-to-order pieces

Custom pieces are built to your specifications, so they're non-returnable — once a custom piece has been delivered and accepted (marked delivered), the sale is final. The one big exception: defects in materials or workmanship. If we got something wrong in the build, we'll repair it, remake it, or refund you under our one-year craftsmanship warranty — and shipping damage reported within 7 days of delivery is on us. We stand behind every piece that leaves the shop.

Refunds

Once your return arrives and we've looked it over, we'll issue your refund to the original payment method — card refunds go back to your card, ACH refunds back to your bank account. If you paid cash, we'll refund you in person or by check, whichever is easier for you.
